Starbuck’s Secrets

Wednesday, January 10th, 2007

There’s been speculation in the comments about Katee Sackhoff leaving BSG, and I would just go insane if they got rid of Starbuck. I’ve been musing on past episodes where we’ve gotten clues about why she is “special” - mostly involving Leoben and torture - but I’m always left wondering how it adds up. D’anna’s Love

Sunday, November 12th, 2006

It seems that D’anna Biers (Number 3) has found love in Hera/Isis, just as the Oracle on New Caprica predicted. But where is the baby? in Greek, the phrase Kalos Kai Agathos, or its shortened form, Kalos K’Agathos, means essentially “gentleman.” Kalos means “beautiful,” Kai means “and,” and Agathos means “good.” Beautiful and good = gentleman.
Sound familiar? I couldn’t help but notice this seems very close to “Karl C. Agathon,” our BSG Lt. Helo. Perhaps this meaningful name [...]
